Music Classes

     Our "Babymoon Makes Music" program will strengthen your child's love of music, improve coordination, and help them to develop physical, social, and cognitive skills. We encourage hands on participation which in turn promotes an increase in your child's confidence level in their musical ability. Our three levels of classes are designed for those as young as three months up to four years of age.

     Watch as your child delights in group exercises involving our oversized gathering drum, dances and sings to lively and rhythmic tunes, and learns the fundamentals of music. 

Babies Make Music (3 months - Walking)

     At this level, parents & babies interact through rhythmic exercises using real age appropriate instruments, while developing stronger timing, balance, and language skills. Emphasis is also placed on singing lullabies, and playing lap games.  This is a fantastic way to bond with your little one and help them build important motors skills at an early age.  Your baby will instinctively react to the music and parents will learn how to incorporate the musical exercises into the home environment.   

Toddlers Make Music (1 year old walkers & 2 year olds)

     The toddler music class involves dynamic instruments, a multitude of dancing and singing exercises, as well as puppet play and story time.  Parents are encouraged to sing and play along as the instructor leads participants in games and songs that are designed to improve language, memory, musical timing, and rhythmic skills.  Repetition and rhyming is highly involved.

Kids Make Music (2 through 4 years)

     This class is designed for the more experienced music maker, as child and parent team up to practice skills such as increased pitch-matching, high and lows, and crescendo / decrescendo.  Games are again an integral part of this course as they help reinforce the principles of creating sounds to match the music and aid in your child's ability to create original tunes.
