Laura Kuehner, Store Manager and Support Specialist
Laura has been with Babymoon Boutique since August of 2007. She started as a part-time employee when her son Ian was 8 months old. Since that time she has logged many hours with Babymoon and has had the pleasure of watching the store grow and change and the opportunity to take on many new responsibilities and challenges as part of the Babymoon family. She finds her position with Babymoon most rewarding when she is working with customers, ensuring that each and every one has a wonderful experience in the store and has assistance finding the products and services that will best meet their needs. Sharing parenting experiences with customers means that everyday she is learning something that improves her skills as a mother! Since starting with Babymoon, Laura and her husband have welcomed a second child, a beautiful daughter named Olivia. In her free time, Laura enjoys reading, spending time with friends, learning to knit and most importantly being with her husband and children.
Katy Gilda-Fry, Music and Birthday Party Host
Katy joined Babymoon at the begining of 2010. She teaches art, music, story time, play date and birthday parties. Katy was in three choirs in high school, participated in Big Brothers and Big Sisters, drama club, marching band, symphonic band and participated in over a dozen musicals and plays with OFallon Community Theatre (currently OFallonTheatrWorks). Katy recorded her own CD demo when she was 16 years old in Nashville Famous Marrs studio with producer Larry Marrs. Katy has taken priviate vocal lessons for 5 years and has been professionally trained in performing Broadway tunes, Italian arias, and current main stream styles. She plays guitar, piano, flute and all persuccion instruments. The last role Katy played with OFallonTheatreWorks was Alice for a childrens production of Lewis Carrol & Alice in Wonderland, which was presented in the fall of 2009. The show was such a hit at the box office, that OFallon has declared every fall show to include a childrens production! Katy is excited to teach the score to the kids this summer in the OFallon TheatreWorks day camp production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She is also currently playing acoustic gigs around the St. Louis area with her dad, Nashville recording artist, Bobby Cage. Katy feels blessed to land her dream job- teaching music to childern here at Babymoon Boutique.

Jessica Townes, Support Specialist and Support Group Leader
Jessica is proud to have been with Babymoon since it opened its doors in 2007. Jessica is a birth doula CD(DONA), and shares her passion for pregnancy, birth, and parenting with Babymoon’s customers in a variety of capacities. She works in the retail store, leads the cloth diapering and babywearing demonstrations, and facilitates the weekly breastfeeding support group. Jessica attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated with a degree in Spanish, which she utilized in the public health and non-profit fields, coordinating services for families. After the birth of her sons Ronan in 2004 and Liam in 2007, Jessica completed her certification as a birth doula and since has been blessed with the opportunity to attend many inspiring births with some extraordinary couples in the St. Louis area. When not working with new mothers and babies, Jessica enjoys singing, theater, reading, gardening and mostly spending time with her husband and boys.
Heather Okimoto, Support Specialist
Heather joined Babymoon in March of 2009. She currently works in the retail store here and enjoys the chance to share her experiences with other mothers and guiding soon-to-be-mothers towards the best products and information. She graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, but plans to go to school for nursing in hopes of becoming a certified lactation specialist. She is originally from Chicago, but has lived in St. Charles with her husband for 7 years. They have two boys, Sean, 3 1/2 and Peter, 21 months.
Bonnie Wolk, Support Specialist and Playdate Host
Bonnie joined Babymoon in the Spring of 2010. She taught elementary school for ten years before deciding to stay at home with her own children. She has recieved her bachelor's degree in education as well as a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She is the proud mother of four children. Cannon, Owen, and her step-children, Gavyn and Isabella. She is a strong advocate for ALS and Breast Cancer Awareness. Bonnie now enjoys helping other mothers find the best products available and assist in providing a safe and comforting environment for all customers at Babymoon. In her free time, Bonnie enjoys reading, walking, crafting, and most importantly spending quality time with her husband, David, and their children.
